Job description

Innvoke, LLC is seeking an experienced Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Operator, a Kongsberg expert with experience working with plastics and more, to join our commercial print team.
Our CNC operators create custom, unique, and amazing point-of-purchase, museum, university, retail, and gallery displays and dimensional pieces for a variety of clients in multiple industries. We work with plastics, PVC, and other substrates, including aluminum (no metal) on a daily basis and take great pride in serving as a trusted partner for our clients.
Ideal CNC Lead Candidate Requirements:

Two Years CNC Experience Required:
  • Proficiency as a print industry CNC Operator (plastics not metal).
  • Proficient operating Kongsberg, Zund, and Colex machines.
  • Machine Maintenance.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, perform daily maintenance.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision.
  • Proficient with mathematics and measurements.
  • Independent/autonomous worker.
  • Problem solver.
  • Commitment to Quality Control.
  • Knowledge of materials, handling, and understanding of the pros and cons of each for optimal results.
  • Reliable and dependable.
Summary of Duties:
  • Proficiently operate the Kongsberg each day for the duration of the shift.
  • Read, review, understand, and interpret clients' requests.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate plastics or other substrates according to specifications.
  • Set up and program files from scratch.
  • Collaborate professionally with sales, production team, and clients.
  • Utilize Presswise and other required technology to perform work.
  • Handle materials, manage inventory.
  • Perform work using key safety guidelines.
  • Use hand tools, measures, and additional tools as needed for accuracy.
  • Assemble components.
  • Troubleshoot machine issues, maintain equipment on a daily basis.
  • Communicate efficiently and in a professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned and as business needs require.
As with all of our roles, this position is essential. It requires precision and the ability to work with a variety of materials, often including unusual shapes and sizes. This position requires independent work and the ability to produce large quantities and to meet tight deadlines.
If you are a dedicated, reliable CNC operator who can program a file from start or from scratch and have two years of experience in a similar role in a commercial print environment, we'd like to talk to you.

Additional requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds, move large substrates, stand, bend, work on your feet for the duration of the shift, use of hands, eyes, and work in a manufacturing and production environment.
