We design, install, and tear down high-end tent structures for corporate events, estate weddings, festivals, and large-scale productions across Chicagoland and beyond. Our work is fast-paced, physical, and built on a team that takes pride in showing up and doing it right.

We are looking for drivers who work hands on with our field and warehouse crews. It's physically demanding work. If you're looking for a position where all you do is drive, then this position will NOT be a good fit for you.

We're hiring:

-Field Crew Drivers to operate company trucks AND work alongside our crews installing, transporting, and tearing down commercial event tents and related equipment. You'll drive, you'll install, you'll tear down. This is our primary hiring need. Drivers hold a valid Illinois C-Class license (non-CDL, authorizes vehicles up to 26,001 lbs) or a CDL, perform the same install and teardown duties as field crew, and operate company trucks to and from job sites.

-Warehouse Runners to operate company trucks AND provide physical support in our warehouse. Drivers who hold a valid Illinois A or B class CDL license qualify for this position.

When you're not on the road, you'll either work with the field crew on installs and teardowns or support our warehouse team. Where you spend your non-driving time depends on your experience and what the day calls for.

COMPENSATION

Driver (C-Class, Non-CDL): Starting at $22.00/hr, more based on experience

CDL Class B: Starting at $27.00/hr

CDL Class A: Starting at $30.00/hr

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Drive company trucks (with or without trailers) to transport equipment to and from job sites

Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any vehicle or equipment issues

Safely load and secure equipment, including weight distribution, tie-downs, and clearance checks

Install, set up, break down, and remove tents and related equipment with the crew

When you're not driving, support the field crew on installs and teardowns or work in the warehouse, based on your experience and the day's needs

Follow the project plan and take direction from your Project Manager

Operate hand tools and installation equipment safely

Keep the truck, job site, and warehouse organized and clean

Represent Blue Peak professionally with clients at high-end venues

Requirements:

PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
