Job description

PRN Radiology Technologist
Kernodle Clinic is a respected and progressive multi-specialty group practice with office locations in Burlington, Mebane, and Elon. We are a community leader offering challenging and rewarding opportunities for our employees. With more than 100 providers and a strong reputation for quality care, Kernodle Clinic is conveniently located just off I-40/I-85. Burlington offers easy access to major metros (Greensboro, Raleigh, and Durham), as well as day trips to the North Carolina mountains and beaches.
We are currently seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist ( lt;29 hours a week) to join our X-Ray Department at our Burlington location. The X-Ray Technician uses imaging modalities, performs radiographic procedures, applies principles of radiation protection, and evaluates radiographs for technical quality while exercising professional judgment and providing excellent patient care.
Experience:
A minimum of one year of x-ray experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred. Experience with EPIC is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program
  • Current A.R.R.T. certification (RT-R)
  • Current BLS certification with AHA
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Verify patient identity and explain procedures clearly
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Position and transfer patients safely
  • Evaluate image quality and accuracy
  • Assist with patient flow and departmental operations as needed
