Job Summary
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating HR processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing employee engagement. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Duties
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and training development.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including FMLA and OSHA compliance.
- Facilitate succession planning and talent management initiatives within the organization.
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date employee information.
- Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures aligned with strategic planning objectives.
- Provide general administrative support as needed.
- Assist the Training Coordinator with scheduling and organizing training sessions for staff.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Help onboard new employees by preparing documentation and coordinating orientation schedules.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding training, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Take responsibility for hiring and recruiting staff, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating the hiring process.
- Perform any other tasks requested by management.
Experience amp; Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in HR or related field preferred).
- Previous administrative experience (experience in HR or training coordination is a plus).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, including OSHA standards and FMLA guidelines, is beneficial.
- Strong skills in data entry, attention to detail, and organizational abilities are essential.
- Experience in training development or strategic planning will be considered an advantage.
- Leadership experience: 1 year (required).
- Ability to commute to Burbank, CA 91504 (required).
- Ability to relocate to Burbank, CA 91504 before starting work (required).
