Job description

Location: San Francisco, CA

Work Model: On-site

Industry: Cybersecurity / AI software

Compensation: $120K base, $350K OTE

About the Company

Our partner is a Series A cybersecurity company building an agentic security engineer: AI that probes software for vulnerabilities and tells teams exactly how to patch them. Backed by a leading venture firm at a nine-figure valuation, the platform is already in production at well-known mid-market technology companies with early traction inside Fortune 50 accounts.

The Opportunity

This is a full-cycle Account Executive seat on a small, technical go-to-market team. You will prospect, run your own demos, and close your own deals, with no SDR handoff and no territory politics.

You will report directly to the go-to-market lead and work alongside an engineering organization that can go as deep as any buyer wants. Deal sizes run from five figures to six and seven figures, with room to shape how sales is built.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, technical demos, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain pipeline into security and engineering leadership.
  • Hold credible technical conversations with engineers and security teams.
  • Partner with engineering on deeper evaluations and proofs of value.
  • Travel roughly 25% for customer meetings, conferences, and onsite evaluations.
  • Feed field learnings back into positioning and process.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of closing experience in security or technical software sales.
  • Experience selling into technical buyers and reasoning about the product without an engineer in the room.
  • Track record of self-generated pipeline in a full-cycle role.
  • Comfort operating in a small, fast-moving team with high ownership expectations.
  • Based in San Francisco and able to work onsite.
