Valley CSB is seeking an RN to provide nursing services to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities at two residential group homes.

Summary of Essential Functions
  • Provides comprehensive healthcare services in consultation with clinical psychiatrist, primary care physicians, Direct Support Professionals, and other support team members.
  • Assesses physical status on an at-least quarterly basis.
  • Reviews daily progress notes and documentation related to medications, medical appointments, and medical procedures.
  • Oversees medication administration and the inventory, implementation, storage, and acquisition of medication, supplies, and equipment.
  • Provides medication administration training, guidance, and support to ICF team members.
  • Develops and maintains effective, collaborative relationships with teammates and external partners.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
All applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered qualified for the position.
  • Current, valid certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Valid Virginia driver's license with at least zero points.

Preferred Qualifications
The most competitive candidates will have one or more of the following additional qualifications.
  • Previous experience serving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • Previous experience working in an intermediate- or long-term care facility.
