Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Evening shift for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Jacksonville Correctional Center in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Evening shift is 2 8-hour shifts and 2 12-hour shifts. 8 hour shifts are 2pm - 10pm. 12 hour shifts are 10 am - 10 pm. They work every third weekend 10am - 10pm.
Hourly Rate of $35.00
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
