About the Job
Ruan is hiring Class A CDL drivers to be based in Newport MI, to haul grocery items for our dedicated customer, Meijer! Enjoy no-touch freight and 95% drop and hook on this account! Pay
Drivers working 50 hours per week are averaging $1,700 per week in their first year! Night schedules include $.02/mi differential pay.
Drivers are paid by the mile at $0.55 per mile for A.M. shift and $0.57 per mile for P.M. shift. Earn an additional $0.25 per mile during weekends! Annual pay increases for the first 7 years. Tiered and mileage-based pay package allows for high earning potential.
Schedule
Enjoy a five-day workweek, with 2 consecutive days off! Select from a variety of available morning and night schedules. Local 24/7 dispatch teams. Drivers typically work 10 to 12 hours per shift, averaging 50 hours per week.

  • Must be at least 22 years or older
  • No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply)
  • No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years
  • With the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired
  • 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records
