Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Missouri (or eligibility)
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- SNF experience is a plus โ butย new grads are encouraged to apply!
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient-centered care
Occupational Therapist
Planning, organizing, and conducting Occupational Therapy Programs in hospital, institutional, or community settings to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental conditions. Evaluate patientsโ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities through standardized assessments and clinical observations. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patientโs needs and rehabilitation goals. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Provide guidance and education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding exercises, adaptive equipment, and home modifications. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with facility and regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines. Participate in team meetings, discharge planning, and case conferences.
Requirements: Masterโs degree in Occupational Therapy or related field and 1 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist or related, and Valid MO. OT License
