Location: Littleton, CO
Type of Role: Direct Hire (Full-Time, Onsite)
Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off)
Pay: $192,000-255,000 POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to support advanced space and defense programs within a high-security environment. This role is responsible for RF payload analysis, system design, integration, and performance optimization across the full lifecycle of mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience in RF systems and payload architecture, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment supporting national security initiatives. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Perform RF payload analysis across multiple stages of the program lifecycle
• Support system design and architecture to develop optimal payload solutions
• Conduct system integration, testing, and performance validation
• Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical anomalies
• Support deployment and performance assessment of critical government systems
• Collaborate with RF engineers, subsystem teams, and subject matter experts
• Partner with customers and program leadership to ensure successful delivery of milestones
• Perform modeling, trade studies, calibration, and risk/opportunity analysis
• Support proposal efforts and post-test payload analysis
? Note: This role does not involve component or circuit board design MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications
• Active Top Secret security clearance required
• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI with Polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Experience developing and analyzing technical requirements for RF systems
• Ability to allocate functions across satellite subsystems and components
• Experience with MATLAB or similar coding/programming tools Additional Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred
• Strong ability to work in cross-functional engineering teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience defining RF payload or subsystem performance aligned to mission requirements
• Experience developing specifications and interface definitions for RF systems
• Familiarity with RF components (antennas, transmitters, receivers, processors)
• Experience with system certification and customer acceptance processes
• Proven ability to support major milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, etc.)
• Experience with AI/ML data analysis techniques
