Lead inspections and modernization of elevator systems across multiple states to ensure safety, compliance, and peak performance.

Position Summary
The Vertical Transportation Specialist ensures the safety, performance, and compliance of elevators, escalators, and lift systems across multiple states. This role provides technical oversight, supports inspections and modernization projects, and ensures alignment with national codes and GSA standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance on vertical transportation systems
  • Conduct QEI-certified inspections and ensure ASME/ANSI compliance
  • Review maintenance, inspection, and condition reports
  • Support repairs, upgrades, and new installations
  • Maintain asset inventory and performance tracking (NCMMS)
  • Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
  • Coordinate with contractors and resolve service issues
  • Support planning and execution of capital projects

Qualifications
  • QEI Certification (NAESA or equivalent) required
  • Strong knowledge of elevator/escalator codes and standards
  • Ability to analyze technical data and system performance
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Experience:
  • U.S. Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of vertical transportation experience
