Company Overview Spearman Aerospace is a precision machining and manufacturing company serving the aerospace and defense industries. Operating in an AS9100D and ISO 90001:2015 certified environment, the company specializes in complex machined components produced on state-of-the-art CNC equipment including Matsuura MX-330 5-Axis, Hwacheon Vesta 1000, and Doosan DNM 350/5AX and 200/5AX machining centers. With Boeing D6-51991 digital-model approval and ITAR registration, Spearman Aerospace supports demanding Tier-1 and Tier-2 aerospace assemblies where precision, repeatability, and traceability are essential.
Position Summary
The 5-Axis CNC Set-Up Machinist will be responsible for performing precise machine set-ups, proving out pre-developed programs, and running production parts to print on advanced 5-axis vertical machining centers. Programs are provided and fully verified by engineering; your role focuses on fixture installation, work offsets, tooling setup, part verification, and efficient operation in a high-mix/low-volume aerospace environment.
