QUALIFICATIONS: Illinois Professional Educator License with Science Endorsement
REPORTS TO: Principal, Dean
SUPERVISES: N/A
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
PURPOSE: The 7th Grade Science Teacher delivers standards-based instruction in life, physical, and earth sciences to develop students' inquiry, critical thinking, and scientific understanding, aligned with the Illinois State Board of Education and Illinois Learning Standards. The role engages students in hands-on learning, monitors progress, and collaborates with staff and families to support academic growth and achievement.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 182 Days. Salary to be established by the Board of Education.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Building Principal and/or Dean in accordance with provisions of Board policy.
