Job description

Description:

This Position supports the maintenance and repair of our heavy equipment fleet. Repairs and maintenance will be performed in the field and at our shop. Discover how your skills and dedication can make a real difference to us.


Responsibilities: Trouble shoot and repair/maintain heavy equipment including:

  • Compactors
  • Loaders
  • Excavators
  • Motor Graders
  • Trailers
  • Pickups/one tons/larger trucks
  • Hydraulic, electrical, air brake knowledge
  • Welding and PC knowledge helpful

WORK CONDITIONS: Work is performed most frequently outdoors in weather conditions that vary from sub-zero to heat above 90 degrees, in wet and dry conditions. Work is heavy and requires exertion of up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Lifting and carrying 10 to 50 pounds frequently is required.


Job Type: Full-time with over-time, Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays. Expected Weekday Hours 6am to 5pm, Saturday 6am to 12pm. The salary range is $32 to $42 dollars an hour depending on experience.

Requirements:

At least 5 years heavy mechanical experience, preferably working on heavy equipment. Will require knowledge of hydraulics, air brakes and electrical components.


Must be able to operate and work out of mobile mechanic’s truck.
