• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to evaluate patients' unique backgrounds and experiences, developing tailored, culturally relevant treatment plans.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, closely aligned with the individual needs of clients, to address complex mental health issues.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing effective strategies that promote resilience, self-awareness, and overall well-being among your clients.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and continuity in treatment.

• Respond to mental health crises, providing timely intervention and support to clients in distress.

• Educate clients and their families concerning various mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their care.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards and ethical guidelines, using electronic health record systems proficiently.

• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and train in cultural competency to enhance service delivery continually.

• Keep abreast of current research findings, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy, applying this knowledge to enhance client outcomes.

This role will focus on serving a broad spectrum of patients, particularly those from multicultural backgrounds, including ethnic minorities and LGBTQ+ communities. You will engage with clients facing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma and grief, ensuring that each client's unique heritage and experience inform your approach to care.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPC/MHSP, or PsyD.

• Proven expertise in mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, emphasizing cultural competence.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy using culturally sensitive methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients.

• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and relevant computer applications.

• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries in all interactions.

• A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively alongside a multidisciplinary team.

We value candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience in the mental health sector, directly engaging with diverse populations. Experience with teletherapy platforms is a plus, as we prioritize a seamless virtual experience for our clients.
