The course must be at least 40 hours long and is typically offered online or in-person by certified providers. Completion of this training is a prerequisite for taking the RBT certification exam. It is designed to prepare trainees for working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help individuals with behavior challenges.
