Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Providing guests with chip service from the cage.
  • Assisting guests with seating.
  • Assisting Poker Dealers and Poker Room Supervisors in the starting, combining, and
    breaking of Poker games.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but
    not limited to the state and federal laws and the IGB regulations..
  • Ability to maintain high levels of productivity.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of work areas, including the collection of chip trays and
    returning them to designated areas.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board
    Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers
    Casino - Des Plaines ICS.

Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
  • Must be 21 years of age or more.
  • Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills.
  • Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
  • Available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time, see, walk, talk and hear; use
    hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to identify colors.
  • Frequently required to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
