Job description

The Director is a front line manager designated as the leader for the department, its patient population and assigned staff.  She/he has twenty-four hour accountability for all patient care activities, department operation and staff function. The Director is also responsible for the organization, planning, direction, administration, and evaluation of services in areas of responsibility.  Serves on committees as needed.  Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.


Education: Graduate of an accredited Professional School of Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. 

License: RN license to practice in the State of Alabama or Compact Licensure Agreement. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification.

Experience: 5 years experience in Cardiovascular Services/Cath Lab. 2 years Supervisory experience.
