The portfolio includes 80 markets with the top-rated television station and 100 markets with the first and/or second highest-rated television station in average all-day ratings across 116 of such markets that were measured by Nielsen in 2025. Our additional media properties include video production companies Raycom Sports, Tupelo Media Group, and PowerNation Studios, as well as studio production facilities Assembly Atlanta and Third Rail Studios.

About KPHO/KTVK:

Home to 3TV, CBS 5, and Arizona’s Family Sports, Arizona’s Family produces 100+ hours of local news and programming every week. 3TV is #1 in Arizona and one of the strongest independent stations in the country. Our CBS station is highly competitive in news and has top-rated sports and prime content. Our digital reach is also best-in-market—Azfamily.com leads the market in multi-platform unique users and is home to Arizona’s Family Originals (long-form programs, documentaries, docuseries, and podcasts, including True Crime Arizona, nearing 2M downloads). Arizona’s Family Sports features premier properties, including the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns, Phoenix Mercury, Phoenix Rising, and AIA state championships.

Job Summary/Description:

Are you a creative powerhouse who thrives in a high-energy, competitive newsroom? Do you love the thrill of producing segments from the ground up every single day? We’re looking for a Segment Producer for Good Morning Arizona—the legacy morning show that defines the Phoenix market.

At Arizona’s Family, our brand is our culture, and we’re looking for someone who wants to be the best, every single day, across every screen. Whether it’s a live segment in the studio or a digital-first story that catches fire online, you’ll be the architect of the content that wakes up Arizona.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

What You’ll Do:
• Segment Visionary: Own the segment from start to finish, writing sharp scripts and identifying ways to showcase the content that keep our tech crew and anchors in perfect sync.
• Book the best guests: Identify and secure not only the voices that matter to our community but also uncovering the latest trends to ensure Good Morning Arizona is fresh, relevant, and engaging.
• Drive the edit: Work closely with the Executive Producer, Producer, Managing Editor, Reporters, Editors, and Photographers to ensure every segment and show is polished and ready for prime time (and digital time!).
• Own the multi-platform experience: Ensure our content doesn't just live on TV, but sparks conversation across our digital and social platforms.

What You Bring:
• A competitive spirit: You don’t just want to do the job; you want to win the morning and be the best in the market.
• Killer organizational skills: You can juggle booking, writing, and producing without breaking a sweat.
• Creative vision: You see the "story" in every segment and know how to make it pop for a morning audience.
• Proactive mindset: You don’t wait for ideas to come to you; you go out and find them.
• Digital fluency: You understand that a great segment needs to work on a phone just as well as it works on a 65-inch TV.
• Human touch: You’re a great communicator who can talk to anyone—from high-profile guests to technical crew members.
• Experience that counts: You’ve got a background in television production or segment booking and you’re ready to level up in a major market.

Why You’ll Love It Here:
• Legacy and Impact: You’ll be part of Good Morning Arizona, a show with deep roots and a massive following in the Phoenix community.
• A Culture of Excellence: Join a team that is highly organized, fiercely competitive, and dedicated to being #1.
• Innovation First: We’re Arizona’s Family, and we’re constantly evolving how we tell stories across broadcast and digital platforms.
• Real Community Connection: Your work will directly impact the lives of people across Arizona every single morning.

Ready to make your mark on the best morning show in Phoenix? Let’s talk.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Should be highly collaborative, creative, and "bring it every day" attitude.
• Must be able to multitask and have strong time management skills.
• Candidate must have excellent organizational skills, be an effective communicator, detail-oriented, and work well under deadline pressure.
• A minimum of 2 years of live broadcasting experience.
• Must have the ability to stay up to date on current events; what's popular and trendy.
• The ability to field produce and report on featured stories is a bonus.
• College degree preferred.
