Job Title: Production Supervisor – 3rd Shift

Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 3rd Shift | Sunday – Thursday | 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
Training: Initial training will be conducted on 1st Shift. Hours may vary based on production needs.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our 3rd Shift manufacturing team in Gastonia, NC. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead production employees during the 3rd shift
- Ensure daily production schedules, quality standards, and productivity goals are achieved
- Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures
- Train, coach, mentor, and develop production team members
- Monitor employee attendance, performance, and productivity
- Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Production departments to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate production reports, shift documentation, and performance metrics
- Support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles
- Communicate production updates and shift turnover information with supervisors and management
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on quality and accountability
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and workplace safety
- Experience with production scheduling, reporting, and performance metrics
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on production needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Injection molding manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience supervising 20+ production employees
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience
- Experience tracking KPIs and analyzing production data
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Business, or a related field
