Job description

What We Need:

This individual will perform domestic and international shipping and receiving tasks, such as verifying shipment details against records to ensure accuracy in type and quantity of materials. They will route items to appropriate departments and maintain all shipping documentation. This individual will also pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders and company policies. As a Warehouse Associate, you will ensure the accuracy of shipping transactions in SAP and report any shipping-related issues to the Group Leader.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Picks, packs and prepares product for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with division policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for the complete and accurate shipping of all products, daily cycle counts, maintenance of finished goods warehouse and receipting of finished goods into the respective inventories in accordance with established procedures.

  • Responsible for reporting accuracy of all shipping transactions in SAP.

  • Reports any shipping related problems as they occur to the Logistics Manager.

  • Supports goals of continuous improvement by serving on ad hoc committees and or teams as required.

  • Contacts carriers for service

  • Other job duties as assigned

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Ability to push/pull 20 lbs.

  • Ability to climb 12 ladder rungs; constant standing, occasional walking

  • Computer literacy

  • Minimum one year of manufacturing experience; preferably in a shipping/finished goods department

  • SAP experience

  • Shipping and forklift experience will distinguish the most desirable candidate.
