Job description

Join our Toyota Material Handling Team as a Third Shift Maintenance Technician

The Role:

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Third Shift Maintenance Technician who brings decisiveness, strong decision-making, and expertise to the table. In this role, you'll troubleshooting and repairing while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. At Toyota Material Handling, we value innovative and creative ideas. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving system components, including:
    • Working knowledge of complex electrical controls and circuit analysis. Able to use multi-meter to troubleshoot.
    • Understanding of safety controls including light curtains and safety scanners. Able to connect and troubleshoot PLC/devices and repair/replace as needed
    • Working knowledge of complex industrial automation systems and equipment, including CNC Machining Center (Mazak and Okuma controls preferred)
    • Operate manual equipment for repair (Lathe, Mill, vertical and horizontal saw)
    • Advanced PLC logic understanding (XFER, MOVE and arithmetic data)
    • Advanced mechanical skills to repair equipment
    • Working knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic controls (understands schematic and symbols)
    • Working knowledge of robotic applications with PLC integration (Motoman robotics experience preferred)
  • Repairing and maintaining MIG welding equipment
  • Use of knowledge and understanding of basic welding fundamentals, including:
    • Shielding gas types and ratios
    • Circuit continuity confirmation
    • Calibration of voltage, wire feed rate, and gas flow
    • Understanding of weld fume health impact
  • Work unscheduled overtime to complete assigned jobs to ensure meeting of production goals
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Additional duties as assigned

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Hourly Wage-$31 - $44 per hour + OT (when needed). Compensation depends on the selected candidate's education and experience.
