Robotics Operator-3rd Shift 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Based on operations and business necessity. Weekend and overtime work will be required based on production and operational needs. This position requires regular and prompt attendance during the working hours scheduled by the Department Supervisor.
JOB PURPOSE
The primary duties will be to track inventories through SAP; order materials through outside warehouse's website; make physical checks of items, transfer materials in SAP; keep materials supplied to the production lines; operate powered industrial trucks and motorized pallet jacks; follow all procedures in the proper operation of all powered industrial trucks and motorized pallet jacks; safely inspect all equipment at start of shift and document any deficiencies, if needed; load and unload trailers; this position requires you to keep your work area clean and maintain master sanitation schedule; position requires regular and prompt attendance during the working hours scheduled by the department manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate and oversee robotic systems used for packaging and material handling to ensure consistent and accurate performance.
• Observe robots during operation to verify proper package placement and identify any mechanical or process issues.
• Inspect packaged products to confirm correct labeling, packaging integrity, and compliance with quality standards.
• Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks or forklifts in accordance with safety procedures.
• Use SAP to record, track, and manage inventory movements accurately.
• Maintain consistent production quality by following established procedures and reporting deviations.
• Operate and monitor pallet stackers, shrink wrappers, and other automated packaging equipment.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support safety and efficiency.
• Perform other tasks assigned by leadership to support department operations.
• Immediately report any food-safety or quality incidents to plant leadership.
WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
Forklift/pallet jack experience is required.
