• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status, identifying factors contributing to their challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on specific therapeutic goals tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, providing clients with coping strategies and tools necessary for overcoming their mental health issues.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

You will primarily work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Your therapeutic approach will be client-centered and culturally informed, recognizing the unique backgrounds and experiences each individual brings to the therapeutic relationship.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure in one of the following: Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of four years of related direct clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and an understanding of cultural competence in therapy.
• Proven ability to effectively engage in both individual and group therapeutic techniques, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to remain calm and focused in demanding situations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering rapport with clients and colleagues.

• Experience in delivering therapy via telehealth platforms preferred, as this role requires effective virtual communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and adaptation to emerging therapeutic approaches.
