Job description

Lincoln, AL
10:30pm to 8am

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of warehouse/production associates, operators, and material handlers. Assign tasks, monitor performance, provide coaching/mentoring, handle discipline, and conduct performance reviews. Ensure proper staffing and cross-training.
• Operations Management: Oversee daily stamping warehouse activities — receiving materials, stamping/production processes, inventory storage/putaway, picking, staging, and shipping. Ensure production targets, quality standards, and throughput goals are met. Troubleshoot issues (e.g., equipment downtime, material shortages) to minimize disruptions.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety audits/talks, and maintain a safe work environment (critical on night shifts). Ensure adherence to company policies, GMPs, and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA). Report incidents and promote a safety-first culture.
• Quality Control: Monitor product quality from stamping processes, conduct inspections, address defects, and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records and ensure standards are met.
• Inventory & Logistics: Manage inventory levels, coordinate material flow, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate tracking. Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for efficiency.
• Reporting & Communication: Report shift performance, issues, and metrics to daytime management. Facilitate handoffs between shifts. Use systems for production tracking, inventory, and scheduling.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes. Support lean manufacturing or similar initiatives.
• Administrative Tasks: Handle scheduling, timekeeping, training documentation, and basic HR functions (e.g., attendance). Manage equipment maintenance coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2–5+ years of experience in manufacturing/warehouse leadership, preferably in stamping, metal fabrication, or automotive.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, production processes, and inventory management.
• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on nights with minimal oversight.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), basic computer skills, and sometimes ERP software.
• Physical ability to work in a warehouse environment (standing, lifting, etc.).

Competitive Pay (base salary, monthly incentive, plus annual bonus potential) and benefits (PTO, Health & Life Ins, 401K Match, Dental, Vision etc.)
