At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Technician, for PRN 3rd shifts, to join our team at our Facility Based Clinic in Ahoskie, NC.

Your Role in Our Mission:
As a Direct Care Technician, on the team you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a therapeutic and safe group environment and attending to the welfare and basic needs of clients. You will provide informal counseling in the detox center that involve behavioral techniques, reality therapy, supportive encouragement and socialization skills for the clients.

We are currently hiring for a PRN position: 

Schedule:
  • PRN: 3rd shift, 1130pm-730am or 12am-8am during the week and every other weekend. 

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: $16.82 hourly.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Entry-level, on-the-job training is provided.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Peer support certification or CNA certification a plus, but is not required.
  • Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work.
