Job description

USA Staffing is currently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift Material Handlers. These are temp to hire opportunities with a manufacturing company located in Louisville. These positions are paying $ 20.14 hourly

Basic Function:

Responsible for the execution of required shipping and receiving activities to meet customer requirements and internal measures.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform various warehouse duties including, but not limited to:

  • Pulling of product per customer requirements

  • Preparing pulled product for shipment to the customer

  • Processing inbound shipments for appropriate storage

  • Cycle counting and/or physical inventory

  • Use of various types of equipment in the performing of these tasks, including, but not limited to:

  • Various types of fork lifts, including those that go up to 50ft off the ground

  • Variousstorage and retrievalsystems,depending on the location

  • Warehouse management systems (WMS),Automatedin locations withthat technology.

  • Use of variouscomputer-basedprograms (Bill of Ladings, small package manifest, PC type applications, mainframe type applications)

  • Record necessary data on appropriate paperwork and/or in computer based program(s)

  • Maintain all equipment according to facility maintenance procedures

  • Perform all responsibilities in a safe manner observing all safety requirements

  • Actively support the Corporate Win Strategy

  • Perform other related responsibilities

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent

  • Ability to operate various types of fork lifts
