Job Title: Operator

Location: Sunbury, PA

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: 3rd Shift, Monday-Thursday 8pm-6am

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring production and packaging equipment, labeling products, conducting quality control checks, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

What You'll Do:

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in all tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operating & Monitoring Equipment – Run and oversee various production and packaging machines to maintain workflow.
  • Quality Control & Inspections – Conduct regular quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Record Keeping – Complete and maintain accurate logs, checklists, and production forms daily.
  • Physical Tasks – Lift, stack, and organize boxes weighing between 35-50 lbs.
  • Cross-Training & Teamwork – Be open to learning new tasks and assisting in other areas when needed.
  • Workplace Maintenance – Keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
  • Fast-Paced Environment – Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
  • Standing for Long Periods – This role requires being on your feet for extended shifts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy
  • Basic math skills and ability to complete production logs and checklists accurately
  • Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and stack boxes weighing 35–50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
  • Willingness to cross-train and assist in other areas as needed
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours
  • Commitment to workplace safety, cleanliness, and food safety standards (GMP/SQF compliance a plus)
