RN Acute Care Virtual Quality Support (On-Site)
Description
Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora - CO
Department: Virtual Quality Support
FTE: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Day and Evening Rotation
Pay: $35.29 - $54.71 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Work nights, earn more - our Night Shift Incentive Program pays $1,600 quarterly ($6,400/year) to full-time night shift RNs and LPNs
This position is based in person at the Anschutz Medical Campus and is a bedside, patient-facing role. The Onsite Quality Support Nurse rounds on inpatient units, partners with unit teams, assists with patient care needs, and helps identify and close quality care gaps related to initiatives such as falls, HAPI, CAUTI, and CLABSI.
The position is scheduled for three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating between the following shift times:
  • 6:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
  • 12:00 p.m.-12:30 a.m.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider and any relevant life support certification as determined at position level.
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire.
