2nd and 3rd shift openings


The Receiving Process Leader will oversee the receiving operations and ensure they comply with all laws, policies and standards governing food safety. The Receiving Process Leader is obligated to report any and all food safety issues that may occur.

Responsibilities:

The Receiving Process Leader shall ensure the receiving department is appropriately staffed, organized and aligned to meet food safety objectives.


  • Receives, Counts, Inspects, Verifies (i.e., temperatures, weights, damage, lots) for all deliveries.
  • Use RF scanner to properly receive and print pallet labels.
  • Ensures Receiving Checklists are completed correctly for each item received.
  • Ensures that each receipt has all required documents attached and is filed correctly (i.e., BOL, pack list, COA, checklist).
  • Properly stores and rotates (FIFO) incoming ingredients, packaging materials, and other miscellaneous supplies and/or equipment.
  • Ensures that bulk ingredients are placed in correct silos and tanks.
  • Monitors bulk ingredient levels to properly manage receipt dates/times.
  • Conducts weekly/EOM inventories, maintaining records and logs.
  • Must maintain an organized, clean and sanitary working area.
  • Operate company forklift (sit-down and stand-up), pallet jack, and pallet inverter – valid training completion required.
  • Complete all necessary trainings (i.e., Forklift, Food Safety, and Safety).
  • Communicates well with others (i.e., operators, utility personnel, Supervisors, Managers, Corporate).
  • Using RF scanner, picks and stages required ingredients and packaging for production.
  • Properly tracks bulk levels in silos and tanks.
  • Forecasts, plans and enters requests (PQ’s) with required delivery dates for bulk ingredients and boxes into Business Central.
  • Submits PO quantity adjustments to Procurement in a timely manner.
  • Enters and/or updates the receiving calendar with delivery appointments.
  • Communicates with vendors/carriers to set delivery appointments via email.
  • Provides training for and assigns tasks to receivers.
  • Thorough knowledge of the bulk ingredient unloading and storage procedures.
  • Any other job tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
