Job description

3rd Shift: 7:00 pm - 6:30 amย 

This position is in the Processing facilities. Employees perform the more routine duties while learning processing policies and procedures ย 

  1. Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of production machines, conveyor systems, and supporting equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturer's instructions.
  2. Complete and document with accuracy all required forms
  3. Maintains continuity between maintenance by documenting and/or communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.ย 
  4. Monitor and correct situations that activate the HACCP alarming control system
  5. Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine levels; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; and verifying receipt.
  6. Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
  7. Adjusts functional parts of equipment by using hand tools, measuring devices, levels, and straightedges.
  8. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing personal networks, etc.
  9. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  10. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
