Job description

UTHealth Houston, in collaboration with Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, is launching an Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Training Program. We are seeking a highly motivated physician to join our nationally recognized advanced endoscopy team for a one-year Staff Physician position. This program offers unparalleled exposure to cutting-edge endoscopic technology and techniques in a premier academic and clinical environment.

Position Key Accountabilities:
The selected candidate will be expected to develop proficiency in:
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP
  • Cholangio-Pancreatoscopy
  • Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
  • Endoscopic Suturing and Endoluminal Stenting
  • Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) and Dissection (ESD)
  • Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
  • Double/Single Balloon Enteroscopy
  • Transesophageal Incisionless Fundoplication
Qualifications:
  • M.D. degree
  • Completion of an accredited U.S. Gastroenterology Fellowship
  • Demonstrated interest in research and preference for an academic career
