Shift: 8:00 PM-4:00 AMHourly Rate: $32.75 an hourSummaryThe primary function of this position is to ensure the plant boiler systems are maintained operational and to identify and follow through on repairs. Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.Will plan alternate activities to maximize opportunity and take advantage of the unscheduled downtime or work delays.Will work with the supervisor to order overhaul and spare parts as needed.Will troubleshoot to repair and install mechanical equipment.Will participate in plant facilities and utilities such as Air Compressor System, Boiler and Steam Systems, Hot Water and High-Pressure Systems, Pressure Controls, Plumbing, and Repairs.Will be required to confer with production, central engineering, R&D, contractors, and other operation groups to assist in starting new processes, lines, or plant trials.Maintain records and inventories as required and keep an orderly and clean work area.Will comply with all company safety policies and procedures as well as comply with all OSHA rules and regulations (THINK SAFETY FIRST).Will lead by example with coworkers.Will adhere to good manufacturing practices (GMP), including proper waste disposal, attire, grooming & hygiene, etc.Will comply with 5S requirements.Will comply with the plant Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) policy and implement the correct procedure for the LOTO of machines operated.At the end of the shift, clean and secure all equipment.Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform their essential duties. The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
