Job description

The role includes interfacing with the 3rd Party provider/carrier and being the main Stellantis POC for all internal departments such as sales, Transportation, and Supply chain as well as for all Dealerships serviced from this location. Main objective will be overseeing the 3PL management of the Forward stocking Locations / MCC operation to ensure their facility's performance supports SPW and the overall Stellantis customer service goals with regards to Large Bulk fill rates, order management, facility storage, returns handling through put, ad processing efficiency. The main goal of this position is to ensure the level of service that the 3rd party provides to our Dealers with regards to large bulk enables further growth within the commodity the service.
The 3PL Manager will be responsible for both launch and improvement projects and will contribute to the development of Stellantis SPDS and customer centric performance in this Forward Stocking Location
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Mange and control performance, cost and capacity of the External 3rd Party Forward Stocking Location and the Memphis Core Center
  • Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance. Develop and maintain core KPI's with the 3rd party.
  • Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prioritize projects and ensure Mopar Process Guidelines are adhered to with regards to the operations
  • Main Stellantis contact for Customer Service to ensure Dealers concerns about delivery quality, frequency and timing are addressed consistently and promptly. Work with the carrier to develop a tracking tool to identify repeat issues and ensure corrective actions are in place to resolve them efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide face to face dealer contact to ensure service levels are within the program guidelines and work with the provider quarterly to review service level adjustments required per the program guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent operational experience
  • Minimum 8 years Supply Chain operations experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications and Dview WMS systems

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skill with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels both internal and external.
  • Past experience or study of start up operations or 3PL
  • Team player who can facilitate successful project work and operate to deadlines
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of Lean or SPW techniques such as Kaizen or Six Sigma.
  • Technical expertise- Solution-driven approach to systems and processes
