The Opportunity: Drive multi-site 3PL Excellence & Scale Distribution Networks

Are you a powerhouse logistics executive who thrives on turning multi-site warehouse operations into high-velocity, highly profitable growth engines? We are seeking an exceptional Director of Operations to champion our strategic budgetary, people development, and multi-facility 3PL objectives. In this role, you will be the driving force behind unlocking advanced operational efficiencies across complex distribution networks, maximizing profitability, and collaborating closely with Business Development to seamlessly onboard tier-one clients and rapidly scale existing client partnerships.

If you are a high-energy leader who builds genuine relationships with the team to lift them, the culture, and performance... while effortlessly balancing enterprise-level multi-client strategy with floor-level execution across sophisticated Distribution Centers, your next challenge awaits here.

What Success Looks Like in this 3PL Enterprise

  • High-Performance Leadership: You guide multi-site facility teams to crush demanding 3PL KPIs, SLA targets, and performance milestones.
  • Continuous Innovation: You engineer an open, collaborative environment across distribution channels where continuous improvement ideas are celebrated and quickly executed.
  • Strategic & Tactical Equilibrium: You equip your warehouse management teams with the advanced tools, automation resources, and data metrics needed for daily fulfillment victories while driving multi-year scaling strategy.
  • Resilient Network Adaptability: You conquer fluid supply chain disruptions and shifting client demands with an optimistic, solution-oriented approach.
  • Transformative Growth: You inject dynamic energy, establish clear cultural direction, and inspire elite multi-facility performance that dramatically elevates the end-client experience.

Your Core 3PL Responsibilities

  • Multi-Facility Oversight: Take full strategic accountability for the P&L, complex budgeting, and cross-functional performance of assigned multi-client fulfillment facilities and operational shifts.
  • Fulfillment & Distribution Optimization: Spearhead industrial engineering, labor planning, and facility optimization initiatives to consistently surpass strict, multi-tenant Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Advanced Continuous Improvement: Drive facility-wide continuous improvement frameworks, engineering sustainable multi-level programs via integrated process audits, floor-level dashboards, and advanced management scorecards.
  • Financial Stewardship & ROI: Monitor high-volume operational expenditures, aggressively manage financial variances, and construct data-backed ROI business cases for distribution center process, automation, or WMS upgrades.
  • Client & Vendor Relationship Architecture: Cultivate and sustain high-trust, high-impact partnerships with enterprise 3PL clients, freight providers, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Elite Talent Engineering: Directly manage, mentor, and structurally develop multi-site General Managers and Distribution Center Managers, setting strict operational goals and fostering clear promotional pipelines.
  • Space & Resource Optimization: Refine advanced labor-planning and slotting models to seamlessly optimize high-cube resource distribution across multiple locations, directly improving space utilization and network margins.

What You'll Bring to the Distribution Network

  • Agility Under Pressure: A highly organized master of execution capable of pivoting priorities, managing high-stakes client requests simultaneously, and excelling in fast-paced 3PL environments.
  • Advanced Tech Proficiency: Deep technical acumen, including heavy exposure to modern CRM systems, data analytics, and enterprise tier-one Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Lean Logistics Frameworks: A robust toolkit in Lean, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methodologies entirely dedicated to driving e-commerce/retail fulfillment, total quality management, site safety, and throughput efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Masterful communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to align site floor teams, executive leadership, and multi-tenant clients.

The Must-Haves

  • Experience: A minimum of 8+ years of dedicated, senior-level leadership experience managing complex warehousing, fulfillment, or logistics networks.
  • Industry Background: Proven, verifiable experience directing large-scale third-party logistics (3PL) operations, or leading massive, high-volume pick-and-pack distribution operations for premium apparel or footwear brands.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Mobility & Compliance: A valid driver’s license and the physical readiness to travel both domestically and internationally to audit facility nodes or onboard new client sites.
  • Physical Environment Capabilities: Full physical capability to execute thorough facility walkthroughs, including standing/walking for extended periods on concrete floors, ascending ladders/stairs, inspecting elevated mezzanine spaces, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working confidently within active distribution environments (subject to dust, industrial noise, and temperature variances).

Compensation & Perks

  • Target Pay Range: $140,000 - $185,000 (Commensurate with experience and multi-site portfolio scope).
  • Inclusion Statement: We are an equal opportunity employer. We fiercely celebrate diversity and are deeply committed to engineering an inclusive, safe, and empowering environment for every single teammate across our entire supply chain network.
