Job description

The Dental Laboratory Office Administrator is responsible for managing the daily administrative operations of dental laboratory. This role serves as the primary point of contact for dental offices, ensuring cases are received, tracked , and delivered accurately while providing exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries.
  • Receive, enter, and track dental laboratory cases.
  • Coordinate with dentists and laboratory technician regarding case status, due dates, and special requests as well with our outsource partners/contractors
  • Schedule deliveries and manage shipping ,receiving
  • Prepare invoices, process payments, and maintain customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate patient case records.
  • Order office and laboratory supplies.
  • Learn and assist with digital dentistry workflows, including scanning, 3D printing , and other digital laboratory processes.
  • Ensure confidential patient information is handled according to HIPAA guidelines.

  • Experience with dental practice or laboratory services
  • Strong customer service and problem soling skills.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office ( Word ,Excel, Outlook),data entry ,email communication, and ability to learn dental laboratory management software.
  • Interest in learning new technologies and digital workflow, including 3D scanners and 3D printers
  • Ability to work independently as a part of the team in fast-paced environment
