Atomization Engineer

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will be responsible for bringing forward innovative solutions that yield efficiency and productivity to the atomization business as it relates to product yield, gas use, equipment downtime, etc
  • Specifically, you will research, design, and test solutions and by working with plant engineering execute on these challenging projects
  • You will develop contingency actions and provide technical leadership to resolve both internal and external production related issues related to metallic atomization equipment
  • Additionally, you will provide guidance and expertise to identify and address safety, quality, and productivity issues with corrective actions to improve key performance indicators
  • You will also bring forward innovative 3D printed solutions to the Atomization and surrounding businesses to help solve challenges and increase productivity by partnering with the 3D additive print lab
  • In addition, you will have working knowledge of atomization related equipment, test, and design experience as well as project managing experience
What makes you great
  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering with 5 plusyears of working knowledge in Atomization and Engineering departments
  • Experience with vacuum induction gasatomization along with associated equipment repair and troubleshooting
  • Ability to maintain a safe workingenvironment, including the use of fine powders
  • Working knowledge of equipmentinstrumentation, programmable logic controllers, gas structure and design;experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) will help you succeedin this position
  • Proven effectiveness with leadingpeople and project management
  • You should be able to demonstratea track record of innovative thinking and technical accomplishments
  • Further you must have stronginterpersonal skills with an ability to work both independently andcooperatively in a multidisciplinary environment
