Job description
The Musculoskeletal Imaging Section of the Department of Radiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible radiologist, who has successfully completed a Musculoskeletal Fellowship program and is eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.

- Passion for providing high-quality patient care with expertise in interpreting MSK MRI, CT, and US exams and performing MSK-related procedures.
- Interest in actively participating in scholarly activities which could include education, quality, and/or research.
- Possibility of leadership position within the section - Providing leadership and strategic direction for the Musculoskeletal Section, including developing goals, process improvement initiatives, workflows, and growth plans. Recruiting, hiring, supervising, and mentoring physicians, advanced practice providers, and fellows.
The Department of Radiology is recognized as a progressive and forward-thinking team that continues to expand with a dynamic multi-site hospital and clinic network in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. MCW Radiology offers a hybrid model that allows faculty to read and work in both the academic and community settings.
The Department of Radiology provides post-graduate fellowships, diagnostic radiology residency, interventional radiology residency, medical physics residency and elective clinical rotations for medical students and physician associate students.
The Department of Radiology currently has and is willing to explore creative staffing opportunities to meet our growing demand.
Access to cutting edge imaging technology with opportunities to work in collaboration with basic research scientists and a major equipment vendor in the Milwaukee metro area.
Collaboration is the foundation for how we work within our department and with others across the organization. Our Radiology team includes over 110 clinical faculty radiologists, 11 imaging science faculty, 15 instructors/fellows, 45 residents, 16 advancedpractice providers, and 69 support staff.
MCW Radiology offers a competitive salary within the academic environment with bi-annual incentives based on team-based metrics.
Protected Academic/Administrative time (1-2 days/week dependent on role).
Competitive vacation/meeting time - 24 vacation days + up to 25 meeting days for conferences and academic opportunities.
Access to academic expense funds to cover societal dues, travel, and conferences.($2,000 allowance for Society Dues + $4,000. allowance for CME, travel, and conferences).
At-home workstations, which allow for flexibility and opportunities for moonlighting within the department.
A competitive 403(b) retirement plan with an 8% employer contribution.
Employment with the Medical College of Wisconsin provides eligibility forPublic Service Loan Forgiveness.
Faculty Dependent Child Tuition Reimbursement.
The position requires a Board Certified/Eligible radiologist, who has completed a Musculoskeletal Fellowship program and is eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.
