Job description

Badger State Staffing is seeking a motivated and hands-on Additive Manufacturing Technician to support a 3D printing and rapid prototyping department for an organization based in Appleton. This entry-level role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, engineering, design, and continuous learning. In this role, you will assist with printer operation, model preparation, post-processing, equipment maintenance, and innovation projects that help accelerate product development and experimentation.
Primary Duties:
  • Operate and monitor a variety of 3D printers and additive manufacturing equipment
  • Prepare, slice, and organize print files using CAD and slicing software
  • Perform post-processing activities, including support removal, sanding, finishing, assembly, and quality inspection
  • Troubleshoot basic printing issues and escalate complex technical problems as needed
  • Assist in evaluating new materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes
  • Support rapid prototyping efforts for research, development, and proof-of-concept projects
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain and organize laboratory environment
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation
Schedule: This part-time role offers a flexible 10 to 20 hours per week.
Qualifications:
