Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT) certification and 2+ years of specialty experience for a night shift assignment.

Details
  • CT Tech unit within a hospital setting
  • Patient populations include Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, and ICU
  • Studies performed include abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest imaging
  • Special procedures include coronary CTA, vascular CTA, brain perfusion, and CT arthrography
  • Utilizes GE Revolution CT scanner and PACS system
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Thursday/Friday/Saturday
  • On call required for 2 shifts per month
  • No floating required
Requirements
  • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CT specialty required
  • Prior travel experience preferred; ability to work independently at times
  • Experience with image display and post-processing including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and ROI measurement preferred
  • Skilled in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
  • Proficient in isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture
  • Valid state license or certification required if applicable
Additional Information
  • Perform CT imaging studies across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest regions
  • Conduct specialized procedures including coronary CTA, vascular CTA, and CT arthrography
  • One holiday coverage required
  • Ceil blue scrub color required
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Local candidates accepted within 50-mile radius at a differential rate
  • RTO must be submitted at time of application; no additional time off accommodated after submission
