Job description

Neuroradiology Faculty Greater Chicago Area  

The Division of Radiology at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine is seeking a Neuroradiologist to join its integrated clinical and academic program. This position offers a collegial, team-oriented environment within a highly regarded radiology department, supporting services across Loyolas nationally recognized hospitals and affiliated ambulatory care centers. 

Opportunity Highlights

  • High-volume, complex case mix at a busy Level 1 Trauma Center with a diverse neuroradiology caseload 
  • Strong multidisciplinary collaboration with neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, and oncology, including participation in five weekly conferences and tumor boards 
  • A dynamic academic environment with opportunities for teaching and research, including fellowship training, resident education, and engagement in advanced neuroimaging research 

Qualifications 

  • Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology, with completion of an ACGME-accredited Neuroradiology fellowship and subspecialty certification or eligibility in Neuroradiology 
  • Advanced expertise in imaging techniques and/or spinal interventions a plus

Our clinical practice is supported by a group of excellent, capable, and independent residents and fellows, allowing for an engaging and collaborative academic experience. 

Call Responsibilities 

Call expectations are designed with balance in mind: 

  • Approximately 7 weekends per year, 8:00 AM 6:00 PM 
  • Evening swing shifts from 3:00 PM 9:00 PM 
  • All evening and weekend call duties are performed remotely from home using fully integrated workstations
