Job description

We are seeking a Mid-Level Structural Designer for a hybrid assignment in Hillsboro, Oregon. The selected candidate will be part of a fast-paced team focused on designing Advanced Facilities such as semiconductor manufacturing plants, data centers, and similar state of the art manufacturing facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
This position requires experience with Revit
This position has a pay rate of $31.50 - $43.50/hr
This position can work a hybrid schedule in Hillsboro
Responsibilities

- 3D modeling using Revit
- Develop design concepts, create models from scratch
- Convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models
- Coordinate designs using clash detection tools to resolve both real and modeled conflicts
- Create families and fully utilize the live functions available in the platform to maintain intelligent designs
- Create conceptual structural models based on verbal direction or rough sketches from engineers or other designers
- Incorporates standard notes and details for use in the construction documents
- Manages and incorporates electronic redlines from the Structural Engineer
- Attend project meetings
- Performs field survey of existing conditions
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years drafting/design experience in the Structural field
- 1+ years of experience with Revit and AutoCAD
