Texas-based manufacturing business located in Blanco, TX, is looking for a 3D Drafter to assist design, project management, production, and marketing personnel. We are driven to improve the Design Department to include 3- dimensional drafting and modeling. The Design Department is currently using 2D AutoCAD (mechanical) drawings. 3D Drafting personnel will further improve our processes and capabilities using 3D drafting software and software automations for use in both marketing and production of industrial processing plants and tanks for asphalt. Personnel will work with a large variety of custom projects for companies worldwide.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Working with the Project Manager to design/create/modify models and drawings

Adapting existing drawings and projects to 3D

Building a library of 3D modeled components (each component may have several varieties/layout options, such as right-handed vs left-handed pump skids)

Utilize drawings to create a BOM/schedule of materials

Create isometric P&IDs

Updating drawings and documentation with feedback from the Production team, Project Manager, and through physical measurements as built

Required Experience:

3D drafting software (please indicate which programs you have worked with)

Structural and piping drafting

P&ID Process and instrumentation flow diagrams

Structural design and calculations a plus

Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
