Job description

MAJOR FUNCTION:

1.      Manage and ensures inventory of semi-finished parts and complete parts.

2.      Analyze assembly and press team downtimes and proceed improvement plans.

3.      Modify and adjust process and operation flow on the production work area to increase productivity and quality levels.

4.      Manage department attendance and any attendance related issues. 

5.      Establish annual production plans.

6.      Manage any audit preparation process. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.      Execute and evaluate floor working environment improvement plans.

2.      Set up and evaluate 3C 5S plans on production area.

3.      Analyze downtimes and establish a countermeasure.

4.      Modify or adjust production process and procedure for operation efficiency.

5.      Check on assembly/press current work status and improvement plan progress status.

6.      Check on current status of production team attendance and evaluate assembly/press lines to confirm required number of employees (T/O). Request H.R for more hires as necessary. 

7.      Manage and control overtime applicants from assembly/press lines.

8.      Set up and execute corrective action plans for both productivity and quality issues.

9.      Set up or modify productivity improvement plans and participate in such.

10.    Manage and set up new model try out plans, employee T/O, and follow up with results. Modify and adjust plans as necessary.

11.    Review, analyze, and distribute the result of previous year annual production plan and achievement report. Establish next year annual production plan after receiving customer's annual plan from Sales department.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.      Senior Managers are responsible and authorized to supervise all production department employees in case of emergency or contingency.

Requirements

1.      Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Automotive Engineering.

2.      Over 10 years of production management experience in automobile, manufacturing industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  

3.      Robot/press operation and process knowledge preferred.

4.      Great communication skills with leadership during stressful, work-pressure period.

5.      Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
