Job description

) We are hiring a 32-hour Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic care team at The Oxford Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Haverhill!
Weekly pay up to $35 an hour with weekly pay.
As a COTA, you assist in the provision of collection of assessment data, and direct treatment to a general rehab caseload under the direction and supervision of an Occupational Therapist and participate in clinical program development.
Education & Experience:
  • As a minimum, an associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure by the applicable state agency.
  • New graduates welcome to apply!

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist with direct patient treatments in accordance with a physician's order and established plan of care
  • Participate in team meetings and decision-making processes
  • Consult with patients, residents, and caregivers
  • Monitor efficiencies and document activities in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate consistent knowledge of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations
  • Participate in clinical program development and implementation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor

Specific Requirements:
  • Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Communication skills needed for directing staff, customer relations, marketing activities.
