Seeking a Non-Technical Hospital Laboratory Coordinator to provide expertise and champion results. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels the patient experience is as meaningful as we do.

What you will do in this role:

• Coordinate the activities of non-technical support functions of the department on assigned shifts under the supervision of the department supervisor, manager, or director.
• Perform all non-technical duties within the department. Functional areas may include, but are not limited to specimen collection, specimen processing and referral testing
• Support the department in achieving department goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, healthy work environment, and integration of intra and inter-departmental activities.

What Qualifications you will need:

• A High School or GED required
• Vocational/Technical diploma preferred
• Phlebotomy Certificate preferred
• 1-3 years in specimen collection and processing
• 1-3 years in a clinical laboratory setting
