Canizares Law Group, LLC is a firm established in 2017. It currently attends immigration cases nationwide. Our firm takes pride of being a close and friendly environment. The firm currently employs 52 staff members including 9 attorneys and the Senior Partner, Claudia Canizares. We are looking for an Attorney to join our law firm, who is excited to about our industry and is ready to make a difference in the lives of our clients.

The attorney must have experience in the following: asylums, removal proceedings, defensive applications for relief, family-based filings, naturalization, family-based consular processing, VAWA applications, and I-212/I-601A waivers. A keen interest in statutory interpretation and a confident and proactive demeanor in immigration court required.

Additionally, we have the following requirement:

  • Must speak Spanish.
  • Empathetic and passionate about providing solutions for our clients.
  • The desire for professional growth.
  • Willing to travel outside of the state.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Ability to communicate with the client, on the regular basis, regarding their cases.

  • Ability to manage their case load and meet set deadlines
  • Responsible for keeping up to date on all legal issues that can impact our clients directly or indirectly.
  • Ability to formulate creative legal strategies within the framework of all governmental and other regulations, laws and related policies, to provide our clients with the best legal advice possible.
  • Will be required to draft motions, review and file cases, prepare briefs and memorandums of law as needed.
  • Conduct legal research as needed.
  • Create a legal strategy for the client's case from beginning to end.
