About the Role
The Production Planner III is responsible for creating and maintaining efficient production schedules, ensuring that materials, resources, and labor are aligned to meet production goals and deadlines. This role involves supporting Lean Manufacturing practices, implementing demand scheduling tools, and utilizing advanced skills in ERP, MRP, MS Project, Excel, and SQL. The Production Planner III also ensures that production processes are optimized and aligned with industry standards, particularly in aerospace and automotive manufacturing.
In this role, you will create and maintain efficient production schedules to meet production goals and deadlines, ensuring that materials, resources, and labor are aligned to support these schedules. You will support Lean Manufacturing practices and implement demand scheduling tools while utilizing advanced skills in ERP, MRP, Excel, and SQL to optimize production planning processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment of production schedules with business objectives and maintain accurate records of production schedules, material requirements, and resource allocation. Additionally, you will monitor production progress, adjusting schedules as needed to address any issues or delays, and perform data analysis to present relevant findings and suggestions to stakeholders. Finally, you will provide insights and recommendations to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree).
  • Typically 5+ years of related experience.
  • Highly skilled with ERP, MRP, Excel, and SQL.
  • Extensive experience with production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment, preferably Aerospace or Automotive.
  • Proven track record of optimizing production processes and improving efficiency.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to support decision-making processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, such as ISO 9001.
  • Understanding of capacity planning and resource allocation to optimize production efficiency.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification: APICS.
  • Experience using Python, R, MS Project, PowerBI, Tableau.

Compensation:
Pay Range:
$81,283.00 - $111,763.75
Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
