Machinist – 2nd Shift
Mon–Thu | 3:15 PM–1:45 AM
Starting at $26.00/hr ($25/hr base pay + $1 shift differential)

What You’ll Do

As a Machinist, you’ll apply your technical expertise to machine complex parts while maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Set up and operate CNC lathes, CNC mills, manual lathes, and manual mills

  • Machine parts to print using both metric and inch drawings

  • Hold and inspect tight tolerances—sometimes less than 0.001 inch

  • Produce simple to complex components using a variety of machining equipment

  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and optical comparators

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, including GD amp;T

  • Devise creative and unconventional part-holding methods when needed

  • Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking an experienced, dependable machinist who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience in the machining trade

  • Can independently set up and operate CNC and manual machines

  • Are skilled in producing both simple and complex parts to print

  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic

  • Are comfortable working with tight tolerances and high-quality standards

  • Work effectively within a team environment

  • Are dependable and maintain an excellent attendance record

Desired Skills amp; Experience
  • CNC programming experience

  • Prior forklift operation

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Vocational or trade school training is a plus
