Job description

2nd shift Picker -Winston Salem

A picker is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by selecting the correct food products from the warehouse and preparing them for delivery.
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 2:00 PM until Finish (usually 10 hours + shift)
Pay rate: Starting at $18.00

Main Duties:
  • Using an electric pallet jack to move around the warehouse safely and efficiently.
  • Wearing a headset connected to a voice-picking system that tells them what items to pick, where to find them, and how many are needed.
  • Stacking products securely on pallets according to the order.
  • Checking for accuracy and quality (making sure items are fresh and undamaged).
  • Wrapping pallets and preparing them for shipping.
Work Environment:
  • The work is fast-paced and physically active—you’ll be walking, lifting, and stacking for most of your shift.
  • Some areas may be refrigerated or frozen, depending on the type of food.
